EcoFlex Cable

 

EcoFlex is Alpha Wire's newest innovation in flexible control cables. By combining better performance and minimum environmental impact, EcoFlex, uses its mPPE (modified polyphenylene ether) insulation and jacketing to provide all of the advantages in a smaller, lighter, flexible control cable. EcoFlex cable contains no halogens, phthalates, or heavy metals. The mPPE thermoplastic insulation and jacketing can be easily recycled. They meet RoHS and WEEE requirements for the elimination of hazardous substances and recyclability.

Alpha Wire offers EcoFlex cable in three shielding options to handle any electrical environment:

  • Unshielded
  • Braid Shielded
  • SupraShield Foil + Braid Shield

Alpha Wire FIT line consists of general-purpose and special-purpose styles, materials, and tubing types, each having unique attributes that provide solutions for use in the broadest possible range of applications and environments.

A true engineering breakthrough, EcoWire combines increased performance with a minimized environmental impact. EcoWire derives its advantage from modified polyphenylene ether insulation (mPPE). It is inherently lighter, tougher, and more durable than PVC. This produces a wire that is up to 45% smaller and 40% lighter with 10x the abrasion resistance of PVC wire.
